In honour of CAT WEEK here at thecomedywives.com, I’ve scoured the internet to bring you the most hilarious, shocking or just down-right fascinating facts about cats. Or, as I like to call them, CAT FACTS! For example:
Did you know that the net worth of the wealthiest cat in the world, Mr. Twindle, is greater than that of both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie combined? The favourite pet of the late Earl of Sheffingham, Mr. Twindle is the sole legal heir to over 20 garment factories throughout Asia and Latin America, as well as an outlet mall in Colorado!
Wow! That’s one rich cat! Is he single!? Hahahaha. Amirite, ladies???
Hit the jump for another 10 of the best CAT FACTS that the internet has to offer!
OK. If anyone has actually made it this far, I’m sorry to disappoint, but I don’t have any cat facts for you. I don’t really like cats, and I sure as shit don’t like fucking cat week.
I can’t believe that, of all the ideas that have been tossed around lately, cat week (CAT WEEK!?!) is the one that made it through. I don’t have a cat. I don’t want to write about cats. I don’t want to read about cats.
That being said, I do like Monika. And I don’t want to insult her by telling her that cats are stupid and that she is stupid for liking cats . Luckily, I’m pretty sure that she doesn’t actually read through all the blog posts.
So, instead of cat facts, I’m going to write about the Michael Kors sample sale that I went to today.
My friend Mada managed to score us some tickets. Apparently they are super hard to come by. I love, love, love Michael Kors, so I was really excited when she invited me to go with her.
First we checked out the shoes.
Although most styles were sold out in my size, I did manage to score two cute pairs – a pair of red patent pumps, and some studded beige high-top sneakers.
I did pretty well in the apparel department too. My biggest purchase was a bright-green leather jacket. I was a bit nervous buying a jacket in such a bold colour, but it was marked down so much that I thought it was worth the risk. A leather jacket is typically such a versatile garment that even in a unique colour I think that I’ll be able to make it work with a bunch of outfits. My weirdest purchase was a long-sleeve denim jumpsuit. I’m really not sure that it’ll ever get worn, but I have this vision of myself wearing it and being all artsy and cool or something. Like, maybe I have a scarf in my hair and I’m working on a painting, y’know? It’ll probably never happen.
I also bought a cute, strapless green dress. Certainly won’t be getting much use out of that in this city any time soon, but I have a vacation planned for January and a certain cat-lover’s destination wedding that I’m scheduled to attend, for which it will be perfect.
And, finally, I got two little t-shirts. One is leopard print and the other a lime green floral. They are super soft and awesome.
Unfortunately, there were no bags at the sale, which was a bit of a bummer. But other than that we had a great time and scored some sweet deals!
A big shout out to Mada, the proud owner of not one, but TWO new pairs of MK sneaker wedges, for hooking me up! xox
Thanks for the PURRRRR-fect day!
